January 6th, 2023:

10 deserving DECA Members had the opportunity to attend DECA's District Leadership Conference.  DECA Advisor Mrs. Thornton-Bland would like to congratulate the following students for competing and placing in their Individual Series Events:

·      Zamiah Bright won 1^st place and Jaleah Mason came in 4^th Place in Apparel & Accessories Marketing

·      Teshawana Miller placed 3^rd in Business Services Marketing

·      Kateriana Roseboro placed 4^th in Food Services Marketing

·      Nya Gray  placed 4^th in Marketing Communications

·      For Sports Entertainment & Marketing, Paul Battle came in 4^th

Janiya Wyche, Janae McGill, Journey Vinson and Danasia Jefferson also competed and placed in the top 10.  These DECA Members have earned a spot to either attend the Leadership Academy or compete again at the State Level in March.
